Zuid-Beveland is the eastern part of Central Zealand. It is located in a predominantly rural region, between three more urbanized regions (the Randstad, the Brabant City Row and the Flemish Diamond). Zuid-Beveland borders the Walcheren peninsula, via the Zandkreekdam to Noord-Beveland, and via an isthmus to the Brabant municipality of Woensdrecht. The largest place in the area is the city of Goes. The Oosterschelde is located to the north; south of the Western Schelde.
